Vinland Hotel and Lounge

Very nice and convenient pet friendly hotel. The room was very spacious that it actually looked a little empty. I selected the room with "city view" but I would prefered the "valley view" because it was so much more beautiful, I would recommed that. The spa is small, nice and clean area, we used it for 3 persons and feels full already The pool was nice an clean too. There's no towels at the pool, so bring your own. The only bad thing is that someone left the security door open all the time (on the 3rd floor) so what's the point to have a key if it's going to be open to everyone anyway? Very nice and confortable hotel.

Good value with basic comfort in the room. Not too noisy. Nice bar with small eats. Friendly barman gave us great recommendations for local food. Complementary breakfast at a local bakery down the street was good. On site parking under the building works well.

Loved the hotel and service was awesome and quick. We tried the lounge and had some drinks and food and were all good. I love the drinks that were tasty. Prices were okay and the bartender was friendly. Loved the atmosphere as well. I’d go back for sure.

Stayed here for a night and didn’t have any issues. There is enough parking underground, it’s a close walk to many shops and restaurants, and the room was quiet and comfortable. The room I had was next to the street so at times I had to close the curtains because there were workers outside but it didn’t affect my experience. The front desk ladies were helpful and I felt welcomed during my short stay.

We got the basic room for 4 people as this was only our breakpoint in our trip. We didn’t plan on staying long, so just one night for a basic room. The hospitality of the reception staff was friendly enough. Our assigned room was on 1st floor, so that’s a plus, but they do have a lift in the building. They also have 2 Teslas chargers, so it’s more convenient for us since we own a Tesla. The room was beautiful and cozy. For an affordable price, this was really good accommodation. Recommended for people who seek nice hotels with affordable rates!

We had a wonderful experience at Vinland in Solvang. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and very inviting, and the location is perfect — right in the heart of town and close to everything. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can really tell care goes into every dish. Service was friendly and attentive without feeling rushed, which made the whole experience even better. A great place for a relaxed meal or a special evening out. We will definitely be back.

A Perfect Start to the New Year! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stay Dates: Dec 31 – Jan 2 We couldn't have asked for a better place to ring in the New Year than The Vinland Hotel and Lounge. From the moment we checked in on New Year's Eve, the atmosphere was welcoming, upscale, and festive. What we loved: • The Lounge: Having the lounge right on-site was a game changer for New Year's Eve. The drinks were expertly crafted, and the vibe was sophisticated yet high-energy. It was the perfect spot to celebrate without having to worry about transport. • The Rooms: Our room was spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable. After the late-night celebrations, the bed provided a fantastic night’s sleep. • Location: The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the area. We loved being able to walk to local shops and restaurants during our stay. • The Staff: Every team member we encountered was professional and genuinely friendly, even during a busy holiday weekend. Waking up on January 1st in such a beautiful, well-maintained hotel set exactly the right tone for the year ahead. If you’re looking for a blend of style, comfort, and great service, I highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back!

We stayed one night in a 3-bed suite as a stopover on a road trip. I liked the location at the end of Solvang, convenient to many shops and restaurants. The room was spacious, though starting to show its age. The balcony was a nice place to enjoy the cool night air, or sip a coffee in the morning, though note that the view is a grove of oak trees that you can't see over or through. Road-facing rooms do not have a balcony. There's a 24/7 complimentary coffee bar in the lobby with a very decent blend and cold brew on tap. The staff was polite, but not particularly friendly. I would stay here again if visiting Solvang with a group, but didn't have a great check-in experience this time so giving 4/5 stars. When we arrived at 3 p.m., which is check-in time, we were told our room wasn't ready yet. There were a couple other groups waiting for their rooms as well. After about 15 minutes we were notified that the room was ready. This room had what appeared to be pet stains on the carpet, pet hair on the stairs, trash on the desk, and a couple spots of pizza sauce on the floor. We were able to get moved to a new room, but it was 4:30 p.m. before it was ready. One upside was that we were moved from a road-facing room (no balcony, some road noise) to a rear-facing room.
